New Mexico Road Trip ...

This weekend we went over to northwestern New Mexico to visit my half brother Dan and his wife Bonnie. I haven't seen them in almost 9 years. There was also an annual pie festival going on that weekend so it was a great combination. We had a great visit catching up on all the happenings with both of our families. Lizzie had a blast with the horses, sheep and dogs ... everything was a "pupper" to her. We went into town and enjoyed the BBQ and pie festival, but also got to help out with all the chores on the ranch. On Sunday, Dan and Nate roasted some green chilies and Bonnie and I tried to peel them ... I think we will have more luck next year with all the tips and tricks that we learned this year! :) Thank you both for such a wonderful time!!!
