Phoenix Botanical Gardens

Today we headed out to another spring training game to watch the Oakland A's vs. the Milwaukee Brewers. We had an hour or so to kill before they opened the gates, so we headed over to the Phoenix Botanical Gardens. Not a lot going on there in the way of blooms and butterflies, but we did get to see a lot of bees on the flowers that were out.

This was a really cool exhibit of barrel cacti. It really made a cool contrast with the black rocks that were placed around then.


This was a special exhibit created by an artist to represent a living structure/home for people to contimplate. It was nice for us as it provided some well needed shade. They were cool, but Lizzie wasn't than impressed! :)
