Northern Arizona ...

Today, we decided to head north to see the snow! We started out in rain and ended up with some flurries. Our quick day long road trip took us to several places. What an adventure!

Natural Bridges State Park

Really beautiful weather. The last time that Nate and I were up to this park was while we were engaged. At that time ... about 9 years ago ... you could actually hike up to the falls and stand underneath then in the water. Now, it is completely fenced off with viewing areas.

Looking up.

Mommy and Lizzie taking time to goof around on the rocks near the creek.

Daddy and Lizzie on the viewing deck.

Lake Mary

Catching a quick cat-nap in the car between stops!

Completely zonked out!

Out with daddy near the frozen part of the lake. It was so beautiful out there. The picture is very deceiving as it was quite sunny, but with the cold wind blowing, it felt very nippy! Despite the chilliness, Lizzie is sporting a smile!

The snow family.

NAU and Flagstaff

Since we were this close, we called the twins and was able to meet up with Matt for dinner at a sushi place. Great food, thanks for the suggestion Matt. It was so nice to catch up with you and get the private campus tour. Thanks again Matt!!!
